BSA National Annual Member Fee:  $80/year
BSA Council-NEIC Member Fee:  $80/year
Scout Life Magazine Subscription:  $15/year

Pack 194 Dues:  $50/year 

  -  (Helps to cover the cost of our Local Scouting Program in Green Oaks)
  -  This Amount is reviewed every year by Pack Leadership and is subsidized by Scout Fundraising

Has your family enjoyed Cub Scouting?  Enjoy it even more by getting involved!  We have many open volunteer opportunities for next year and need as many adults as possible to help.  We need volunteers for these positions and more:

Our charter organization, the Oak Grove PTO, approved in-person pack events that follow the guidelines below.

Pinewood Derby Information and Rules

We need help!  Sign up to volunteer at Pinewood Derby events.
 
History
The very first pinewood derby race was held on May 15, 1953 in the scout house in Manhattan Beach, California and was hosted by Cub Scout Pack 280C, the present Pack 713.  Over the last 60 years Pinewood Derby racing has been embraced by almost every nation on the Earth and is one of the most participated-in youth activities anywhere!
 
General Guidelines
  • All Cubscouts can enter one car into the race.  
  • Scout Cars must conform to all Official Rules!
  • All Siblings can design and build a car and enter their car into the sibling race
  • All Adults can design and build a car and enter into the Adult race
  • Adult and Sibling cars do not need to conform to rules.  You can have fun tweaking your cars!  However, No motors or other propulsion devices are allowed.  Only gravity is allowed to propel your car.

NEIC Pinewood Derby

Race your car again at the NEIC Pinewood Derby Race on Saturday, March 2.

The Aptakisic District Pinewood Derby Race is for every Cub Scout in the Aptakisic District. The event will be held at the Hawthorn Mall. Each Cub Scout Rank has a different racing time slot. See registration to the left.
